You cannot wear a bra underneath this dress because the dress is completely open at the back. You can wear a sticky bra, if positioned correctly. This dress offers minimal support.
What underwear should I wear?
We recommend a seamless and soft fitting G- string to be worn under this garment.
What are common alterations required for this dress?
Many women may require hemming due to the length of this dress. This is a very simple alteration that can be done at most alteration services, or we can complete, see ('Hem & Cups') tab for more info. This dress can we worn by women up to 5'10 with heels.

Hem & Cups

HEM ALTERATION ($40.00)

Adjusting the hem is a very common alteration that may be required when purchasing a floor length gown, specifically if you want the dress perfect for YOUR height. The hem of our formal gowns should preferably skim the floor, or sit a few centimetres on the ground.

We can adjust the length of your gown with 2 simple measurements, and your gown will be ready to wear when it arrives at your home.
Our hem alteration costs $40.00 AUD. You can add this service along with the measurements we require to your cart below.

TAKING THE MEASUREMENTS WE REQUIRE

We require two simple measurements to adjust the length of your dress.

The combination of these measurements allows us to get a picture of your height and body type, and determine how the dress fits.

Waist to Floor Measurement, when wearing your heels of choice
This measurement should be taken at the side of the body (as shown in video)
Total Bodice Measurement
Taken from the waist at front, up over the bust and shoulder, to the waist at back (as shown in video)

BUST CUPS ($35.00)

Another popular service we offer is the addition of bra cups. Bra cups are a great no fuss bra solution. We offer padded or non - padded cups and sew in the size which
best matches the size of the dress ordered.

We can add either padded or non- padded cups to your purchase for $35.00 AUD

Padded Bra Cups: The optimum choice if added volume and extra cleavage is the desired look.
Non - Padded Bra Cups: A good choice for those with a larger bust that want a little extra support, or shaping. Bra cups are ideal in backless dresses where a strapless bra cannot be worn.

NOTE: Bra cups are sewn in using the 'floating method'. This method uses minimal stitching with allows the fabric and bust shaping to stretch and mould over the bust when worn.

Packaging & Delivery

Your Studio Minc dress will arrive in a Studio Minc box. Your dress can be stored in this box or you can purchase a garment bag for $15.00 AUD. Our woven garment bags can be used for travel and storage.

PROCESSING

Studio Minc strives to fulfil every order as promptly as possible, however please allow up to 5 days for processing due to payment clearance, stock arrival, or alterations required for customised gowns.
For urgent orders please specify your date of event and we will prioritise your order.

WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Within Australia we use Australia Post Express Large satchels with tracking and 'sign on delivery' service. You will receive your tracking number via email once your order has been fulfilled and it is on it's way. Please use your tracking number to follow the journey of your dress and estimate delivery dates.

INTERNATIONAL (WE SHIP WORLDWIDE)

We ship with DHL express. This service is fast and reliable. Allow 3 - 5 business days. You will be provided with a tracking number via email once posted. Please use your tracking number to follow the journey of your dress and delivery dates.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Within Australia: $25.00 Express Aus Post allow processing and (2-5 business days shipping)

Rest of World: $45.00 DHL Express allow processing and (3-5 business days shipping)

International orders may incur customs/ import fees. These duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within your country of destination.
